Your pass covers the lifts. It does not cover the 150 km between the runway and the resort. Here is which airport to fly into, how long the drive really takes, and what it costs.
Courchevel, Méribel, Val Thorens and Les Menuires are one linked ski area — the largest in the world — and your Epic Pass covers all of it for seven days. The days must be CONSECUTIVE: no rest days, no splitting the trip. That makes your arrival day expensive in a way most people only work out once they are on the mountain, because a transfer that gets you in at 6pm has just cost you a seventh of your pass.
Chamonix is the Ikon resort in France and the closest of all of them to Geneva — about 104 km, roughly 80 minutes by road. A morning landing can put you on snow the same afternoon. You exchange your pass at a ticket window before your first lift.
If you are heading to Espace Killy you are buying local lift tickets whichever pass you hold. Worth knowing before you book the flight.
Three airports serve the French Alps, and only one of them has nonstop flights from the United States.
Nonstop from New York JFK (SWISS), Newark (United) and Washington Dulles (United), plus Montreal with Air Canada. Everyone else connects — most often through London, Paris, Zurich or Amsterdam. Closest airport to every resort on this page.
No nonstop service from the United States. One North American route: Montreal, flown daily by Air Canada and Air Transat. A slightly longer drive to Les 3 Vallées than Geneva, and often a cheaper fare from eastern Canada.
A winter-only charter airport with almost no scheduled North American traffic. Useful if a package has already put you on one; not worth routing yourself through.
Private transfer, door to door, per vehicle — not per person. Shared seats cost less and are timed to your flight.

Because Epic’s seven days run back to back, the cheapest transfer is rarely the cheapest decision. An overnight flight from the east coast lands in Geneva mid-morning, and a transfer booked against that landing puts you on the mountain the same afternoon. A bus that leaves three hours after you clear customs does not.
