La Rosière sits at 1,850 m on a south-facing balcony looking across the Tarentaise valley to Les Arcs, on the road up to the Petit-Saint-Bernard pass into Italy.
It links over the border with La Thuile to form the Espace San Bernardo, around 160 km of piste in two countries on one pass — you can ski to Italy for lunch. The south-facing aspect makes it exceptionally sunny, and its snow record is good for the altitude. Winteride drives you up from Geneva or Lyon via Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
