Les 2 Alpes is built along a high plateau at 1,650 m and rises to a glacier at 3,600 m, giving it one of the biggest skiable verticals in France and reliable snow at the top even when the valleys are bare. The area offers around 220 km of piste with some 40 lifts.
The glacier means it is one of very few French resorts that also opens for summer skiing, and the resort has a long-standing reputation with freestyle and freeride skiers. The village itself is lively, compact and walkable. Winteride brings you door-to-door from Geneva, Lyon or Grenoble.
