Les Gets is a traditional village at 1,172 m on the pass above Morzine, with a genuine centre, a mechanical music museum and a reputation as one of the friendliest family resorts in the Alps.
It shares the Portes du Soleil, around 600 km of linked piste across the French-Swiss border, and its own Chavannes and Mont Chéry sectors are gentle, sunny and well-wooded — ideal for families and improving skiers. In summer it is one of Europe's best-known mountain-bike destinations. Winteride serves it from Geneva.
